Troubleshooting

New students

Due to a technology issue, some new students need to reset their StarID password before they can log in to library resources. After you reset your StarID password, wait several minutes for the change to percolate through the system. Then reload this login page and try logging in with your StarID and new password.

StarID not working for D2L or WSU email

If you are are having issue with your StarID beyond and including the library (WSU email, D2L), contact the WSU Technical Support Center. 507.457.5240 or techsupport@winona.edu

The "online Resources: Log in to Access" pop-up should only appear if you are off campus or using a guest network or non-WSU network. If you are getting this prompt from on campus, it may be creating an error. To fix, make sure that you are logged into one of two WiFi networks: WSU - User or WSU. These networks are available at the Winona and RCTC campuses.

StarID working for D2L and email, but not to log-in off campus

If your StarID is working in D2L but you are getting the error message from off campus, contact the library directly. This often indicates an issue with our proxy server.
