You will need to create a separate NYT account using your WSU email. After you create an account, you will be issued a pass. This pass is automatically associated with your new account. It will work on the website and the apps, on or off campus.
New Account Set-up (on campus)
- Open the New York Times (Institutional Subscription) from our Databases A-Z page.
- Create an account using your StarID@minnstate.edu or StarID@go.minnstate.edu as your email address and follow the prompts.
- After you have created an account, you can open the NYT on your mobile devices and via the App. In fact, direct access to the website/app tends to have fewer issues.
Log-in to the Website
Once you have created an NYT account, you can log-in directly to the NYT website.
- Find LOG IN in the upper right corner.
- Log-in with your NYT account using your StarID@go.minnstate.edu or StarID@.minnstate.edu
- Use the password you created for the NYT account; this is NOT tied to your WSU StarID account.
