After their StarID expires, retired faculty and staff will need to contact the Front Desk to update their information. They will receive a Courtesy Card. Retirees do not need a WSU email account to update their information.  

With their Courtesy Card, retirees will be able to:  

• Borrow print materials  

• Submit Resource Sharing/Interlibrary Loan Requests 

• Access off-campus database resources after contacting Vernon Leighton. All correspondence for setting up off-campus access can be done remotely.  

Check-outs are limited to 10 items.  

Student alumni can also sign up for a Courtesy Card, but they are not able to access off-campus database resources. To access databases, student alumni need to visit the library in-person.
