Yes, WSU has an institutional subscription to the Wall Street Journal. Find a link on our Databases A-Z page, research guides, or the periodical finder in OneSearch.
You will need to create an account to be able to log-in from a personal device.
Activate your WSJ account:
- Open WSJ from the Databases A-Z page or via this link.
- Enter your Star ID and password if prompted.
- Create an account or log into an existing account.
- You may need to verify your log-in before using the log-in on another device. This is sent to your WSU email.
Access from Tablets and Phones
If you are using a personal or WSU issued tablet or mobile device, use the WSJ mobile app.
Log-in with your username and password that you set-up the account with. This may or may not be your Star ID. The default settings when you set up the account is your WSU email (name.name@winona.edu). Unless you chose another option, that is likely your username. Your password is unlinked to your Star ID.
Personal Subscriptions
Users with an existing account have the option to connect it to the institutional subscription at the bottom of the "Create Account" page.
Trouble Shooting
Occasionally, you may need to reverify your association with WSU to maintain access. Use the WSJ link from our Databases A-Z page to do this.
